I often hear things like, “How can I do that to my sub?”, or, “I wish I could afford gear to do the things you do.” or, “I wish I could do all of that, but I live in an apartment and I can’t damage the walls or ceiling.” Guess what? With a little creativity, you can do a lot more than you think. And you don’t even have to worry about damage to walls or ceilings, or needing a ton of space or expensive gear. I thought about a way to show guys how that can be done, and I decided to dedicate one day of the week to this. So, welcome to Tutorial Tuesdays!
I plan to continue this series every Tuesday as long as it proves to be popular based on likes, reblogs, and other feedback I receive.
This week, you’ll see how you can take a dog cage that you may have in storage and turn it into something that can completely immobilize your sub. I don’t just mean keeping him in the cage by using a few padlocks, free to move around the cage. I’m talking as immobile as you want him while he’s in there. No need for an expensive pipe rack or anything that requires an entire room to use or store. This will produce a very similar result. When you’re done, just collapse the cage, slide everything under the bed, and it’s out of plain sight.
As always, make sure you’re 100% safe, sane, and consensual. Never leave the room/area when your sub is in bondage. For this setup specifically, make sure your sub isn’t allergic to any pets. If he is, avoid this one entirely or take the necessary precautions if you’ve used the dog cage to house a pet previously. Be sure the dowels obtained in Parts list step 2 are smooth, to help prevent splinters. Keep a scissors nearby or something that is capable of cutting household twist ties. And of course, always keep keys to padlocks nearby.
Setup the dog cage.
Optional:
Have your sub crawl into the cage, positioning him facing whichever direction you’d like. Keep in mind, once you proceed, you can’t really have him turn around in the cage. So if you want his mouth or ass toward the cage door, position him that way now. ;-)
Optional: Using 2 pairs of handcuffs, cuff each of his hands to the bottom corners of the cage. This will ensure he can’t remove the wooden dowels with his hands (the easier way, see step 6 to prevent him from removing them the more difficult way).
Slide your wooden dowels through the cage bars, one side to the other, front to side diagonal, however you want. You could slide one in front of his wrists and one behind, and/or same with his feet. You could slide another in on an angle between his legs. Get creative, the possibilities are endless. Be sure the dowels are smooth, and slide them in/out slowly just to be safe.
Optional: If you prepped the dowels in step 2 above, you can now insert a household twist tie through each one of them and secure each dowel to the cage bars to lock it in place. This will prevent your sub from sliding the dowels (accidentally or intentionally) and causing them to drop out of place. Without being handcuffed, it’s difficult for him to undo the twist ties. If you chose to handcuff him, it’s impossible to undo the twist ties.

Have been in that last position. It looks quite simple but is as tough as hell after just a short time. Collar connected to the top of the spreader too, just for extra sport....
